​Our mission is to empower women with knowledge and holistic support, helping them thrive through the menopause transition and beyond.

 

Our programs are built around you—your needs, your goals, and your journey through peri-menopause and menopause. From day one, we focus on simple, effective actions to help manage symptoms and improve your well-being. We take the time to truly listen, understand your concerns, and create a personalized plan that sets you up for success. Through lifestyle adjustments, emotional support, and targeted exercise, we're here to empower you to feel your best and live your fullest life.

  1. Discovery Call with Kara
    15–20 minutes | Virtual
    A brief introductory call to discuss the program, answer your questions, and determine if it's the right fit for your needs and goals.

  2. Initial Evaluation & Treatment
    1 hour | In-Person (Office or Mobile)
    A comprehensive session to review intake forms, assess symptoms, and discuss your personal goals. Together, we’ll create a customized plan that may include lifestyle changes, nutrition, an exercise program, and a referral to Dr. Speed for pharmacological support if desired. Biometric measurements will also be taken during this visit.

  3. Telemedicine Visit with Dr. Speed
    45 minutes | Virtual
    A detailed consultation to explore and prescribe hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or other pharmacological options. This visit covers medication types, dosages, and treatment protocols.

  4. Individualized Exercise Program Review
    1 hour | In-Person (at your workout location or our gym office)
    Hands-on session to ensure you’re using proper equipment and technique. You’ll receive expert guidance and cues to support safety and effectiveness in your exercise routine.

  5. Follow-Up with Kara
    30 minutes | Virtual
    We’ll evaluate your progress, modify your plan as needed, troubleshoot any challenges, and set a timeline for the next check-in (typically in 2 weeks).

  6. 3-Month Follow-Up with Dr. Speed (after 3 months of HRT)
    45 minutes | Virtual
    A progress check to assess the effectiveness of any prescribed treatments and make adjustments as needed.

Kara's Journey to Becoming a Certified Menopause Coach

In December 2023, everything changed. I was training for a marathon with the goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon—feeling strong, motivated, and in control. But as the holidays approached, I suddenly felt like I had hit a wall. My energy plummeted, and I found myself battling intense fatigue, brain fog, poor muscle recovery, night sweats, interrupted sleep, and even hair loss. A foot injury sidelined my running, and I no longer recognized how I felt in my own body.

 

Refusing to accept this as my new normal, I began digging into what was happening. That deep dive led me to uncover the often-overlooked realities of perimenopause and menopause. What I discovered transformed not only my perspective—but my career focus.

 

In February 2025, I became a certified menopause coach. Since then, I've dedicated myself to educating and supporting women through social media, client interactions (as a practicing physical therapist), and community workshops. Together with my team, I’ve helped develop a comprehensive program designed to guide women through midlife transitions with knowledge, tools, and compassion.

 

Midlife can feel overwhelming—it’s full of physical, emotional, and lifestyle changes. But it’s also an opportunity for transformation. I’m here to help you navigate this journey, reconnect with your strength, and become the empowered woman you’ve always been.

 

The symptoms of perimenopause and menopause are often misunderstood, minimized, or dismissed. My goal is to help you better understand your body, make sustainable lifestyle changes, and advocate for yourself in healthcare settings—so you feel heard, supported, and equipped to thrive.
