Nicole Shirley
Growing up as an endurance athlete I quickly learned the importance of injury prevention and rehabilitation as I worked through my own injuries. During my physical therapy schooling at the MGH Institute of Health Professions I only had eyes for the orthopedic and sports population. After exposure to the broad spectrum physical therapy has to offer, my sights turned.
I have spent the past 11 years working in the acute rehabilitation setting providing care to those who have suffered a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and complex orthopedic injuries. In 2019, I furthered my education and became a board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Despite my love for the neuro population and geriatrics, I have never let go of my passion for orthopedics, athletics, and strength and conditioning.
I am a wife, mom of 2, and a hybrid athlete. In my free time you will find me training at the gym, perusing Target, baking/indulging in baked goods, and spending time with my family/friends. I strive to use my wide variety of knowledge, expertise, and skill to help every individual reach their performance goals.
