Whether you are looking to PR at a race, prevent injuries in your upcoming season, or train for your adult soccer league, Cape Concierge PT has you covered. Depending on your goal, we will meet at your home, office, a nearby track, or a gym.

Benefits of each program

Sport Specific Training

Offering1:1 training sessions to prepare for upcoming sport season and reduce likelihood of injury. Each session individualized to the athlete and their goals. Additionally if you have a team of athletes looking to train together,  customized training sessions are available. These sessions are tailored to the age and fitness level of each athlete.

Functional Movement Screening

Functional Movement Screen is a series of 7 movements that allow the clinician (me) to analyze movement patterns and observe mobility and stability deficits. The purpose of the screening is to identify any limitations or asymmetries that may increase risk of injury. Screening helps ensure that you have a solid movement foundation and can take on more complex and demanding activities. Based on the results, I can give you a personalized home program to prevent injury.

Ergonomic Workplace and Evaluation 

Thorough evaluation of your body, your current, and past medical history, and discuss with you your home and/or work environment. View the set-up of your desk or office, the type of tools and equipment you use, the expectations and demands of your job, and a summary of your typical day. The focus is on improving posture, energy efficiency, and body mechanics as well as making necessary adjustments, modifications, and changes to reduce and prevent further pain and injury.
