Stephanie Lehtonen

I'm a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over ten years of experience evaluating and treating adults with communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders. I've provided care in skilled nursing facilities, home health, and assisted living settings, helping people regain and maintain the skills they need for greater independence and quality of life. I have a special interest in dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, and voice disorders. I believe therapy should be individualized and centered on each patient's own goals — whether that's preventing falls, safely enjoying favorite foods, improving communication, or supporting memory for everyday tasks. I value building meaningful relationships with my patients while partnering with families and caregivers throughout the rehabilitation process, and I'm committed to evidence-based, functional therapy that helps each person reach the highest possible level of independence and confidence.
