Fall sports pre-season kicks off next week.

Which means it's officially crunch time for sports physicals — and if you're anything like the parent who booked hers a full year in advance, only to realize last month that appointment slot now lands smack in the middle of a workday you can't move... you know the scramble is real.

(No judgment. We've all been there, frantically calling the pediatrician's office trying to swap a 2pm for literally anything else.)

Physical, rescheduled. Heart, lungs, vitals — cleared. Box checked.

But here's what that appointment doesn't check: how your athlete actually moves.

Hip mobility. Landing mechanics. Side-to-side strength imbalances. These are the things that show up again and again in the research behind ACL tears, growth plate injuries, and the overuse pain that sidelines kids mid-season — and none of it shows up on a stethoscope.
